A DECADE AT CHANNEL NINE

I started in television as a junior burger at Channel Nine Sydney in 1999. I worked there for 10 years and loved it. I’m grateful for everything I learned while working in News, Production & Promos. In particular, working with the team at Wide World of Sports. There is something quite special about live sports TV.

Most work here is from a time of Quantel Paintbox FX, Avid Illusion, Shake, Lightwave and an early dabbling with After Effects. It was a time of anamorphic nightmares, field issues and archiving your work to Beta tapes. Back at the turn of the century, we even had to learn new software from big thick scary looking books.

There is some terribly embarrassing 3D in here too.
